Race is a fixed class, and Amy Cooper understood the true class dynamic at play.
Friend & I used to joke about how you should never be rude to anyone on your way to a job interview. Be extra polite to folks on the subway or in line at the deli bc whoever you’re a jerk to will wind up the one interviewing you.

Cooper assumed the random black guy had no power.
In a purely class-conscious society, she would’ve considered “hey maybe this guy is a client or knows a client or is somehow connected to power.”

Think about who people usually feel free to treat like garbage.
And Cooper didn’t lose her job bc she called the cops on some guy who turned out to be Obama’s cousin. You don’t need a Harvard degree for a cell phone and social media access.
