stop addressing mixed groups as "gentlemen" challenge 2020

if you are on a team you think i might be talking to you should be not at all reassured that I have dealt with this exact thing on multiple teams in the last week

stop it please, all of you

good gender-neutral terms to use when addressing a mixed group:

team, everyone, everybody, y& #39;all, folks, nerds, friends, [name of group or team], $con attendees, volunteers, speakers, participants...

not so good:

gentlemen, gents, guys, you guys, "gentlemen and... er... lady"

do you think this is silly and it doesn& #39;t matter? cool! won& #39;t cost you anything to do it then
