If you're really interested in helping marginalized groups, wouldn't you want to deploy the best strategy in order to do so? Wouldn't you want to set your immediate personal catharsis aside and not support punitive measures that just sour acceptance in the eyes of the masses?

You all just essentially spoke to my manager because I said workers shouldn't be fired for the OPINION that trans women arent women. I dated a trans women who believed that also! One of my bestfriends who is trans despises this punitive mode. This mode is not helping anyone.

What if there was a better way to improve the material conditions for most people AND create solidarity, by focusing on what we have in COMMON rather than hyper-individualistically focusing on our differences and therefore legitimating material inequality.

Has cancelling comedians and firing workers for opinions done anything to improve material reality for most people and marginalized people you purport to help?The answer is no, you will never build a working class movement that ignores economic inequality in favor of moral purity
