I continue to shelter in place b/c I have the career flexibility and state of mind to do so. But we are social beings and in the time of year where everyone is very social. People are anxious and ready to be out. It’s easy to call folks idiots and selfish, but it doesn’t help.

For many, instincts and culture are gonna take precedent over a hard to understand disease unless it personally touches them. And there’s nothing you can do about it. Can’t control other folks. Just don’t participate in those things and protect you and yours.

But I think the mudslinging and everyone becoming citizen police and running to social and media to dump on folks is just making people dig in further as a way of rebellion. It doesn’t help change minds. If anything it makes people dig in more.
