Like, yeah, it's generally good to not film people as a principle, but if they're breaking rules and also being incredibly racist and *also* threatening to accuse a black man of personal aggression, I think it's safe to throw that principle out the window.
White people forget, but police abuses on the scale of what happened to Rodney King were occurring all the time in LA. What changed everything and made that a tipping point?

A video tape.
Anyway, I'm a white lady. I'm sure if someone filmed me and I was just going about my business and not being a violent racist, people would be on my side if the video were posted online.

There are consequences for racism now. Video makes that possible.
