May is mental health awareness month and since May is coming to an end I’d like to share my experiences because maybe it can help someone who’s in a similar situation. My whole life I thought mental health was a hoax and people were wimps looking for attention. [1/6]
Over the past 3.5 years or so my opinion has completely changed due to personal experiences. I haven’t always had someone to talk to so I’ve found ways to release some of my negative emotions without anyone’s help. The first thing I did was made a 2nd Twitter where I… [2/6]
don’t allow anyone to follow me. This Twitter is where I can be myself and let my thoughts and emotions run wild. Another trick I’ve learned is to text myself things that I want to text to other people. By typing these words out and clicking send it made me feel a lot… [3/6]
better because it made my brain think I said what I needed to say to that person to feel better but I really just said it to myself. I’ve limited my social media usage in general. I don’t have the Instagram app, often times I don’t have Snapchat and I’m not usually signed… [4/6]
