alright: labyrinth sequel takes from one person in the very dead labyrinth fandom

one: hate that this is happening, have dreaded this for a long time LOL
two: wont hit the same w/o david, at ALL (if jareth is involved that is)
three: i wonder if theyll go in the direction of labyrinth coronation or return to labyrinth....

my BIGGEST concern though, is how theyre going to do it. If its cgi.... i wont even give it the time of day, puppetry could be the one thing that make it worthwhile. It’d totally ruin the charm. Course a golden spot (imo) is mixing puppets/practical fx with cgi for touch up

i could be mistaken, but we had news of a “supposed” labyrinth sequel YEARS ago, which never happened obviously... so im gonna keep loving this thing w/o thinking a sequel is coming out personally

if its an outright REMAKE, its pointless. It holds up really well??? it better be something new like i mentioned. could be based on return/coronation or ENTIRELY new ideas (ill be honest, im not a fan of return, but coronation from what ive read would be neat)

i /really/ cant downplay how important labyrinth is to me, its the reason i learned how to sculpt (both digitally AND with clay - seriously), taught me other specific programs (one namely being) marvellous designer, started learning to sew because of it

It was also really huge with figuring out my gender (though, important to mention that was also in part with Bowie in general)
so yeah i really, really hope they dont screw this up

anyway, enough about labyrinth but watch it again when u can for seratonin

wait i have more:
there was a labyrinth game way back in the day (cant remember what system it was for, will check in a second) but - i really think something super cool could be made out of labyrinth with a game. A puzzle and exploration game?? oh yeah! no realism allowed

im biased because my roots are game dev though
it mustve been a year ago that i saw a SUPER NICE project by a game dev for labyrinth.... ill try and find it again but it was gorgeous- Last i saw the dev stopped posting about it though :-/

i cant speak for how well it translates into the board game because.. frankly i dont have the cash or space to drop on a board game i may not have time to play hah
but id assume... its pretty good?
