Deep at the heart of sexism is the policing of gender and "othering" males who appear feminine.

When we describe/define feminine males with the words "woman/girl" it only aids in the policing of gender stereotypes.
Instead of expanding the definition of what it means to be a man, this ideology narrows the definition of what it means to be a woman.

This is regressive & sexist.
Not only does this action erase the physical sex based nature of female oppression based on our bodies, but it supports structural gender hierarchies that systemically oppress women.
To suggest that there is a way to:

"dress like a woman"
"feel like a woman"
"act like a woman"
"pass as a woman"
"identify as a woman"

are all regressive tropes based on gender hierarchies.
The objectification of women/girls is so entrenched within a culture of beauty prescriptions, media presentations, and social norms that we hardly notice.

We have lived within a system of gender hierarchy for so long that it is all but invisible.
We KNOW how women should act, dress, behave because cultural programming is effective. We buy into it and believe it. But women/girls are NOT objects.

There is no way to dress, feel, act, pass, or identify as having a female body.

You either have a female body or not.
Radical feminists reject the gender hierarchy and the prescriptions of culture. We have long fought harmful beauty prescriptions that objectify our bodies, shaving, makeup, overly sexualized clothing, unrealistic body standards, heels, etc.
Males who engage in beauty practices traditionally prescribed to women/girls have an opportunity to be gender non-conforming.

If these males embraced themselves as men/boys it would go a long way to breaking down culturally prescribed gender hierarchies.
If GNC males claim the accurate sex terms man/boy they could actually break the strict prescriptions of culture and help to rewrite the scripts of gender hierarchies.

But when GNC males choose to self define as women/girls it only reinforces the old hierarchies/prescriptions.
