Folks acting like discussions re the unique racism of white women is something new because ‘suddenly’ the term ‘Karen’ is all over social media.

Pls. Our mums and aunties have been warning us about WW since we were kids. This conversation is not new, you’re just now privy to it.

Speak to any woC who has spent any time in a white dominated org, esp in spaces that are not-for-profit. They’ll have the battle scars. Yes. It’s a matter of life and death in the US esp as we’ve seen highlighted w the recent #AmyCooper situation. It’s also death by a 1000 cuts.

And the levels of Islamophobia?

I’ve never had someone want to save me and my mum more than a WW.

I mean. It’s not new. I don’t even know if it bears repeating.

But fam. It’s like they see the hijab and they think it takes 100 points off my IQ.

Nah, sis. Settle.

Not that IQ is a neutral form of intelligence ranking either. Anyway.

I do think that there is a space for discussion around the practice of doxxing folks though - as someone who has been on the other end of the equation. It’s a challenge, as there tends to be such little consequence for racist behaviour in general... but I do wonder.

Alt right doxxing is not the same as this, you might argue. It addresses a power imbalance, you might argue. This is how they get away with it, you might say. Yes... but how do we control a group?

I don’t have answers. Only many questions, and a manuscript to avoid writing.
