EXPOSING H*LID*Y INN E*PRESS THREAD (my opinion based on my experience!)

today me and my gf started our 1st day of work with the company. We did not finish our shift and left on our lunch break because we were so uncomfortable.

Almost none of the staff were wearing masks, even the other new person they were training. They said that their policy is mask on always except for when you're cleaning a room -then it's your choice.

I live with my gf and her mom, who is high risk for COVID-19. We told our supervisors that and they brushed it off, still not complying with wearing masks, which was especially uncomfortable when there was 5 of us crammed in an elevator and we were the only ones wearing masks.

Our supervisors even made jokes about  COVID-19 saying, "if I die, I die, it's god's will" and laughed about it. Even though we explained that we live with someone who is high risk and could possibly die if contracted.

Our supervisors half-assed trained us for like half an hour. My supervisor kept saying that she doesn't do all of the required cleaning. They were going so fast that we weren't comprehending half of it. Maybe a paper explaining the procedure would've helped.

Next they gave us a room to clean (which we were very unprepared for). There's 5 sheets/comforters that went on the bed and I literally had no clue of the order and placement because we were explained the process in literally less than 5 minutes.

COVID-19 is serious and it's so frustrating that people only think of themselves. We left, went home, and showered and washed our clothes and decided not to return. (End of thread)
