The ancient Egyptians had many different beliefs about the god Horus. One of the most common beliefs was that Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris.
After Osiris was K worded by his brother Seth, Horus fought with Seth for the throne of Egypt.

In this battle, Horus lost one of his eyes. The eye was restored to him and it became a symbol of protection for the ancient Egyptians. After this battle, Horus was chosen to be the+
ruler of the world of the living.

He's a god in the form of a falcon whose right eye was the sun or morning star, representing power and quintessence, and whose left eye was the moon or evening star, reprseting healing.
Yeonjun ➱ Osiris

Name Meaning : Latinized form of the Egyptian Usir which is interpreted as 'powerful' or 'mighty'.

Osiris was the Ancient Egyptian god of the dead, and the god of the resurrection into eternal life; ruler, protector, and judge of the deceased.
His cult originated in Abydos, where tradition locates his tomb.

Osiris ruled the world of men after Ra left the world to rule the heavens. He was murdered by his brother Set, who later dismembered his body and scattered the remains.

The grieving Isis reassembled the parts+
and magically brought him back to life. Since he was the first living thing to die, he subsequently became the lord of the dead. His death was avenged by his son Horus, who defeated Set and cast him out into the Western Desert.
