I've logged 4 yrs fighting an unneeded, unwanted fossil fuel compressor in "progressive" MA. Others have logged 5.5 yrs & SO MUCH of their sanity ( @FRRACS_MA).

What've I been doing w/ my time on stay-at-home? Have I been taking a wee break from The Heavy shite? 1/

2/ I wish I could say I'm broadening my mind with hopeful things, with things that'd allow for a true break from The Heavy shite, even for a little bit.

I didn't know this part of my personality existed before @Enbridge came to town as @SpectraEnergy yrs back.

3/ I have finally finished up listening to @maddow's Blowout (OMGOMG) & have been listening to and reading @WeAreDrilled (even an interview w/ AW!).

4/ last weeks Frackland tours from @EHPinfo

(and now I'm crying a bit) (it's SO HEAVY)

I'm watching my town's Mayor playing w/ citizens regarding possibly having a $10m @enbridge deal offered to Weymouth: is there a deal, will he take it? What strings are attached?

5/ What good is $10m IF NO ONE WANTS TO LIVE HERE?? Why is our Mayor no longer a partner w/ us in this fight?

Mitigation from @Enbridge is good, we'll need more resources if/when this shitpile goes live BUT NO STRINGS.

Seeing my town give up before this is dead is so hard

6/ I know those of us who still fight @enbridge aren't alone is our despair, or determination to never give up.

Our particular gas transmission compressor is worse for the world only in that it's precedent-setting siting, and also allows for more gas to be sucked out of PA

7/ ... to be exported out to Canada (who, coincidentally, got tired of waiting for US and found their own gas) and overseas. This is the wet dream of every garbage fossil fuel company—finally get gas infra approved in "progressive" MA that will allow for a gas superhighway...

8/ ...from Marcellus Shale region of PA through MA to Canada to get converted to LNG for export.

I want to unhook from this madness of soaking ourselves in information in all media... all of us still fighting bullshit gas projects do, right? We can't, at least I can't.

9/ What do we do, what do I do?

I keep hoping I'll discover another way to fight by listening, reading, watching. We have tried SO MUCH, @FRRACS_MA has some of the biggest brains & most experienced, astute members... while we've riddle the project with holes, still they build.

10/10 @Enbridge bought off @MassGovernor @CharlieBakerMA and, oh, was their money well-spent. They got one of the most mediocre white guys w/ the most stubborn streak/big ego anyone could imagine.

Baker, you've ruined so much in MA & beyond. Just so sad. #mapoli
