I haven& #39;t really said this publicly in over 8 years (since going independent), but...

I& #39;m at a point where I might entertain working for a company (part-time or full-time). I& #39;m not sure there& #39;s many positions out there I& #39;d fit in, but, here& #39;s my "reverse job listing"... :)
I almost exclusively prefer open-source work, rather than closed proprietary code which I find boring and counter-productive.

I strongly prefer building and working on utilities/libraries and tools, and/or working in node, rather than using frameworks to build front-end code.
I strongly prefer positions that focus heavily on knowledge transfer, writing, engineering culture building, internal and external developer evangelism, working with entrepreneurs/customers, etc... rather than purely product/dev roles. But I also want to code.
I prefer a position with ownership rather than a generalist role.

I prefer a position where I& #39;ll be learning/exploring/R&D (and then sharing that with others), and leading others to do so as well, rather than just iterating on known/preset roadmaps.
Technical leadership roles are great (I& #39;d likely gravitate to principle, director, or vp level), but I& #39;m not interested (or particularly skilled at) people/HR management.
I strongly prefer part-time (up to 20hr/week), but might consider full-time if it was a really amazing fit.

Working remote is a requirement. I won& #39;t relocate, and I don& #39;t even see myself going into offices (in Austin) any time soon given the current world reality.
I don& #39;t have a resume, and I probably won& #39;t put one together. If you care about my former employment (8+ years ago), see Linked In.

If you care what I do now, look at all my books, workshops, and OSS projects. If you don& #39;t have enough info from that, I may not be a good fit.
I& #39;m not likely to work with recruiters. I& #39;m of course quite open to direct exploratory calls and chats, but not the normal screening process hoop jumping.
So, there ya go. That& #39;s the dream job listing.

I& #39;ve spent weeks working up the courage to post that publicly, as I& #39;ve been so worried about how putting that out there will sound, and how unlikely of a fit I am with most opportunities/teams.
