i really appreciate Riordan’s way of writing in the voice of a 12 year old kid but also keeping the writing elevated i think that really shows a lot of talent and is A+ writing. so many time we get a ya protag who has the inner voice of a 30 year old but is supposed to be 16.

my final note in order to get this thread started, i see Hades being set up as a villain, and look, i’m just not here for it. but zoe has assured me i need to just keep reading bc it’s worth it.
