Some big news for our city which you might have missed with everything going on right now. Wolverhampton has waited a long time to get it's new railway station - but we're delighted to say that phase one of the scheme has now opened.
The Government have asked people to travel by walking, cycling or car at the moment and only to use trains and other public transport if essential. So until more of us can visit the new station, we thought we'd share a few pictures to give you a look.
For people where train travel is essential during the current lockdown, a one-way system has been marked out at the station to help people keep to the social distancing measures.
Customers that do need to travel are encouraged to buy their tickets online in advance if possible.
Phase two of the programme will see the demolition of the remainder of the old station building and completion of the new build to house three more retail units, as well as a customer waiting room and help point.
