Lets have a decent conversation on this. I need superior arguements. I honestly have my reservation the way we as APC members or supporters outrightly reject our critics or "super critics" to work for our government. Isnt it a show of triumph to have your critic work for you?
I completely understand we have a pool of supporters that can occupy such offices but theres nothing wrong bringing in few critics or super critics who willingly agree to serve.There is satisfaction in seeing your once antagonist turn protagonists and seeing things your way
I have seen very brilliant and some of our finest APC supporters recruited by PDP state govt and tapping their expertise. I also know there are critics on either side that will never work for either side. We should not chase away those who willingly and accept to cross over
I remember the episode of Mr Onigbinde. We worked when I was chairman committee on finance. Brilliant guy that any govt should be proud to have in its team. We chased him away because he said harsh things against us in the past. Today, that same guy would have been a protagonist!
The most dangerous critics of the APC are within. They have done so much damage to our party and government. Some are hidden. We know some but often pretend we dont! There are APC members who say worst things in private against our leaders and govt than the opposition
I completely understand that the reward system of the APC has been abysmal. I know many old and young people that made huge sacrifice for the party and can add value if giving the opportunity wasting away. The APC can accommodate as many without blocking few from the other side
I think we should get our priorities right and channel our energy and genuine anger appropriately. We must learn to add to our strength by encouraging antagonist to become protagonist! My opinion is not supreme! Feel free to disagree and share yours. No abuses or insults please
