3 points I feel the need to make:
During my own 5mins of fame (around 2008) I was friends with Paris Hilton's UK manager. She was huge at the time & I remember him EVERY DAY sending her several suitcases of clothes, jewelry, cosmetics & more at the Sanderson Hotel. (Continues)

13 years after little has changed.
PR companies send FREE stuff to "influencers" or pay the bigger names to collaborate & promote products. It's a TRAP!
They want you to work to exhaustion so you can afford to pay £40 for an eyeshadow palette that cost £2 to make in China.(Cont.)

Holly May & her boyfriend Tommy Fury can afford all that stuff you crave & exotic holidays in locations you dream of, because it is their JOB to promote all that.
Stop comparing your life to theirs.
Appreciate what you already HAVE before time makes you appreciate what you HAD!+

For example we take our #health & for granted. But it is not!
Once I inhaled a nasty cleaning chemical by accident & had a nasty allergic reaction in my lungs. This made me realise that I take breathing for granted.
When in fact I should be grateful even for that basic function!

As a trainee psychotherapist I encounter so many girls who tell me they wish had that @LoveIsland lean tanned look, the lean figure, the injectable fillers. Etc.
It seems obvious to me that spending hours on #Instagram is detrimental to their #mentalhealth .
But it isn't to them!

It's easy to fall into the #socialmedia validation trap.
I caught myself refreshing my #Instagram after I posted & check how many likes it got! I felt the need to show only the BEST bits of my life there. (Nobody posts a selfie from a night bus) So I decided to take a year break.

I can go on for ages about #MentalHealthAwareness & don't want to take over your feed with my brain droppings.
Finally I want to wish @mollymaehague who was the inspiration of this short tread, a VERY Happy 21st Birthday & the BEST in life! (which she seems to already have! Lol)
