You read about how you and your family are at risk for poor outcomes.

You learn about medicine without ever seeing images of Black people.

You speak up about the lack of critical race analysis in your curriculum.

You brush off the comments of your peers saying you are “too radical”

You get back up after taking exams that are designed in ways that replicate testing disparities.

You ask questions even tho you know some peers doubt that you even belong.

You say “that’s enough”

You think “I must endure”
