and that privilege we have as astrologers is part of how we get to participate in creating worlds with our clients that are kinder, more inclusive, more compassionate, more equitable, and more just—as @ddamascenaa said.

so for example, in sessions, I can delineate planets with lots of dignity as areas in which a person may have more than enough resources to share + contribute to the well-being of others. I don't tell them what to do, but I can invite them into that possibility.
6
or when I talk about love re: Venus or the 7th House, I can cite bell hooks All About Love (and other feminist writers about love) and offer clients potentially new ways of thinking about love.
7
or we can discuss the 5th House in sex-positive, pleasure affirming ways. or delineate strong 6th House placements as potentially describing some roles in supporting subordinated people, like worker's rights or the afterlife of slavery.
8
or we can discuss 11th House placements and community networks with a consciousness of care networks that have been developed extensively in queer/trans POC disabled communities and what they teach us about being in right-relation to one another.
9
or we can discuss 12th House placements as potentially relating to work with incarcerated people or abolishing the prison industrial complex.

we get to decide how we describe the world. and the world(s) we describe with our clients then become part of the worlds of possibilities into which they can live, from their own intersectional experiences of privilege + marginalization.
