I wanna set this thread off with Brittany on the gram @ beekeeperbae makes fashionable chunky pinup black girls. I LOVE her use of rolls, sparkles, glitter and frames. Also a fun fact is that Brittany & I were born on the same day :3

Rachelle Jade @ missjadepress on the gram. Apart from being my friend, Rachelle is an amazing artist. Her line work is so delicate and whimsical, with light washes of ink. I love her comics “Dee Goes Home” and “Tea Party”

Mi amigue Juliaaaa @ naomitoques, there’s so much to say about their work. I love how they draw everyone and the backgrounds. Their characters are very clearly Central American & LGBTQ. Julia is also out here repping for the Latinx Jewish folx.

@ ketsueki_koibito is just the right mix of catholicism, el OXXO, Dr.Simi, Teletubbies, Hello Kitty and anime. THEIR WORK IS SO AMAZING AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY TO SEE IT!!!! The intersectionality went off.

Miguel aka frossshhh (@ frossshhh) He makes really cute pencil drawings, I love their use of color and how angular their drawings are.I’ve never seen art like the kind he does before, I love it.

Let’s talk about Haylie Jimenez @ _h4yli3. Her and her twin (Sydnie) are a power house. Haily’s inking is so bold and sure, the colors provide a nice texture to her work :D

Sydnie Jimenez @ syddd.Viciouss makes beautiful clay sculptures. They look like 3D drawings. My favorites are her clown heads and girls. Her work needs to be in a permanent museum collection PERIOD.
