Meanwhile, an "open the state" protest is brewing up the hill. Folks here said the economy is dying and the COVID health crisis has been overblown. I see a sign that says, "vaccines are not placebo safety tested."

A few reapers approached them and said, "We're big fans."

"Theyre being sarcastic," one Open Up protester said.

"They're communists," another told a kid.
