The first Savita vigil in Eyre Square a few weeks after she died. In the following years, the sequence of events that led to her death was read out. Devastating.

Myself and the wonderful @tracybruenmusic drove up to the 2016 @freesafelegal march. It pissed rain, but change was in the air. My cousin’s umbrella and lovely dog Otis. #RepealMemories
Travelling in 2018 I plastered my car and myself in Repeal gear. Going through the airport in my favourite T-shirt. Drove up to receive a @sundaybusiness short story prize in my sticker-plastered mondeo a few days before the vote. #RepealMemories

Tallying at the count centre was extremely emotional for me. I sobbed and sobbed. The relief.

1000 lovely Yes votes, and one of the tally sheets from Galway West. 2:1 Yes:No. There were very few spoils. Voters took this referendum extremely seriously.

The Returning Officer was not happy with us celebrating 😬
