1) okay don't know what's in the water today but i woke up to a flurry of tweets bashing grown up disney lovers lol.
so apologies in advance for this rant- don't know who needs to hear this, but seriously- LET PEOPLE HAVE THEIR JOY.

2) ESPECIALLY if that joy comes from the mouse, or the parks. think on the stress that can build up in a person's mind. every day, people figure out how to live with anxiety, depression, grief... and you're telling me there's a land where they can just be a kid again?

3) i'm a fully functioning adult. ive been making a good bit of money for a good bit of years, saved every penny i can. i'm not irresponsible. i hustle hard. i provide for my family. i never was too fond of adult parties, or fancy getaways. my comfort is stories.

4) i go to be immersed in those stories. the escapism. some of my happiest memories are in those parks, and yes, i try to go every year, to create more. i know no one asked me to defend what i like, and frankly, i shouldnt have to. but this stigma needs to fuckin END my dudes.

5) liking something = not creepy. loving something = not creepy. even obsession = not creepy, just so long as you're not hurting yourself, or anyone else, there's nothing creepy about it.

6) im a grown ass man, and me and my wife are missing our happy place right now. so lemme catch someone shaming that joy again. PLEASE.
