I got a screenshot of a deleted tweet before it was cleared from my cache. They took it back, so I've protected their identity.

If this sounds like something you've been tempted to say to a Christian like me, please read this thread.

My mind never stops. Always processing, always analyzing. We're the guys who run sound at your church, the ones who helped your pastor stream services during the quarantine.

We program Bible software, translate Bibles, decipher cuneiform and other ancient languages.

Don't tell us not to use our gifts. I received this from the Lord, and I'm trying to love Him the only way I can.

I grew up in a church full of people who'd lose themselves in emotional rapture during worship. I watched them and thought there was something wrong with me.

It took a long time for me to grow to the point where I could have the same kind of transcendent experiences my brothers and sisters have. They come at great difficulty sometimes. I was made differently, and it's an insult to the potter to call *this* pot marred.

I suspect that the tweet was deleted because this insult was perceived, and my brother/sister decided it was best not to say it. Sincere thanks for that. But the thought is still in the hearts of many of you. Please repent of it.
