@mistereatgalway know your enemy.
Video shows how it spreads. Think of a waiter standing over 1m apart tables to take an order. Very different to stepping in/out to put down a plate.
1.27 shows a restaurant environment which along with bars and clubs have highest transmission https://twitter.com/ToryFibs/status/1265180601012936705

Funnily enough aniar would probably be safe according to this video. The oven canopy is strong enough to suck everything out. It already holds the door open
If your restaurants don't feel safe they will be empty anyway.
If an outbreak is traced to your restaurant it will devastate not just your business but your profile too

Transmission is drastically reduced outside. There are only 19 cars parked on Dominick st. Remove 2 of them and Tartare has full capacity. Talk to the landlord about that beautiful spot by the river down the lane (3 cars parked) and Tartare is suddenly bigger
Remove all 19 cars and dela, handsome burger, rouge, brúns, carrols, american apothecary all have space
Remove a lane too and aniar and tartare are bigger with more capacity than before

You're banging your head against a brick internet with this 1/2 metre thing.
Use the street, the taoiseach has advised a change to our street design yet @GalwayCityCo are intentionally obstructive and it doesn't seem to be even on the RAI radar.

Dominick st would be the busiest and safest street in the city by a country mile
Middle st is just so blindingly obviously in need of pedestrianisation it shouldn't even have to be discussed

You can bang on all you like about airplanes too but they're surprisingly safe because of the ventilation system. It works the same way as if you turned the oven canopy in aniar on full.
Do a smoke test on it

Put all your energy and profile into the council and get them to support the lifeblood of our city
Crap, think i removed a couple of them instead of adding. I'm new to this
Ah well, point is still there
