I think the absolute worst trait about our generation is our impressionability.
We go by what others think and/or believe way too much. We don& #39;t use our capacity to think, act and feel on our own. It stems from our need for the validation of others and to be accepted into a specific tribe i think
We have put ourselves under extreme pressure to look, talk, act and believe in certain ways. And those above actions do not become real unless others know actively that we are doing so. It creates a constant state of need and want.
By "our generation" i mean those who grew up with social media early on i.e. 1990 onwards. We need to find a way out of this constant state that we& #39;re in, its really what leads to depression and anxiety. We have an intense fear of missing out that we simply cannot ignore.
To summarize the problem:
1. We live upto (let& #39;s say) 13 without an social media and have a vague sense of identity.
2. We get throw into a virtual space where we& #39;re inundated with so much information and so we begin exploring anf questioning our vague sense of identity.
3. We look back (lets say) when we& #39;re 17/18 and dont remember how we got here. The pace of transformation was overwhelming that we phtsically could not keep up.

This is just my opinion so yh
