Police Militarization under Obama:

- Military reutilization. (Billions in equipment such as tanks/M-16s given to DOMESTIC police) Obama Expanded.

- Bryne Grants created multi-jurisdictional anti-drug/anti-gang task w/NO accountability. Obama funded.

- COPS Grants aka MORE policing. Obama upped funding 250%

- DHS anti-terrorism grants INCREASED. Aka the police can buy military equipment from the government at a discounted price.

- Obama continued medical marijuana raids, 200 in first two years. Bush had 150 in 8 years.

- Asset forfeiture. Obama fought for this law in court. Police can seize property they believe is connected to drug activity with little evidence, then hold it for up to six months before the owner gets an opportunity to win it back in court.

- Obama administration has defended the use of aggressive, militaristic police actions in court. In the case Avina v. U.S., DEA agents pointed their guns at an 11-year-old and a 14-year-old during a drug raid on the wrong house.

- Obama enforcedthe heavy-handed raids often used to enforce immigration laws. Between 3 and 6 million have been reported.

Trump is just going to continue them and Biden wants to FUND more of them.
