Today I shall attempt to install a dishwasher myself, should it actually arrive. The shut-off valve on the old dishwasher is, of course, non-functional, which should make things interesting.
I& #39;m not proud. I& #39;m not humble, either, so I& #39;ll say this will take bravery and patience and remarkable steadfastness.
And of course, it wasn& #39;t "on the truck today," which is the second time. So, in the great words of a former president, "fool me twice; don& #39;t get fooled again."
And in a dramatic twist, the dealer bought one off of a competitor for me. Now I need to just install it. If you don& #39;t hear from me in three hours, be assured I& #39;ve either drowned or electrocuted myself
Well, it is in. And not leaking. But I definitely dented the door and the legs are all janky.
The test run is commencing and it doesn’t electrocute me when I lick it. Pray the drain don’t leak because I really wedged that mother washer in place
Speaking of #terribleDIY, here’s the display box I made for the Landspeeder I got when I was 5 and in the hospital
Fortunately my terrible photography masks my terrible carpentry. Honestly, this thread feels negative. I do not tie my self worth to things I’m trying for the first time
