Weeks ago and again recently, I tweeted about the travesty of people suffering and even dying alone in hospital as a result of covid. It’s actually the result of our various governments’ failure to properly prepare for something like covid. And that failure continues. 1/

Even now, there is still not enough PPE for our healthcare workers, never mind visitors to hospital. That’s what this comes down to. That’s why people can’t visit their loved ones. So while retailers can figure out protocols to allow them to reopen, hospital remain closed. 2/

And there’s a human toll for that. The letter below was forwarded to me and lays bare exactly what that toll is. And it’s not just in one province, which is why I blacked it out. It’s happening across Canada. It’s needs to be fixed, especially in non-hot zones. 3/3
