5/ If you’ve seen The Crown you’d appreciate the ludicrousness of the Queen’s Secretary & chief advisor Tommy Lascelles delivering the Queen’s Xmas speech for her. He’d never allow it. Once that happens “the rot” sets in. If it wasn’t set in it before, it has certainly set in now
6/ Despite presiding over one of highest death rates in Europe the PM keeps talking about the ‘UK's success in dealing with the virus.’ Strange he finds it so easy to say something so nonsensical when he has such obvious difficulty defending the actions of his special advisor
7/ If Cummings is such an amazing strategist and integral to the government’s approach to the pandemic, can we assume his input is partly responsible for so many deaths that didn’t need to happen? Perhaps the PM needs better advisors?
8/ It’s easy to say we are a disgrace & an international laughing stock. It’s easy to demand sackings. What we are witnessing is the death of the ‘old normal’. Whatever the ‘new normal’ is, it can not tolerate lies and entitlement. We are proving that on here.
