Algeria has been closer to the GNA, so far. However, Russia and Syria growing involvement in Libya could change this. Damascus maintains excellent relations with Algeria, especially on military\\intelligence level.
Many in the Syrian intelligence estimate that Turkey will attempt to further its interests in Algeria, mainly Islamic parties there, if the GNA wins. Turkey will use Libya as a base to do this.
Algeria will be warned from this. Syria's own experience with Turkey could be enough to scare Algeria away from the GNA. Turkey abandoned Damascus, its best Arab ally, in 2011 to support Islamists. It will do so with Algeria.
If Damascus mange to push Algeria to support the LNA, this will be a game changer. LNA allies will have way better access to western Libya, leaving the GNA and its backer, Turkey, in a very weak spot.
