At its best the liberal tradition posits (in line with Christianity) the idea of a God given law that is knowable and binds universally in all men by nature
This explains in part its cosmopolitanism and universalism, which a thoroughgoing "antiliberalism" is forced to deny
Seems to me like the reaction against this has been to displace any idea of human community with pure sectarian power-struggle, a bit like an uncouth interpretation of Marxism
As was once often noted, not every antiliberalism is superior to liberalism
