I've pondered on their MAMA 2018 speech so many times. There'd be times when I think, "In another life, the boys wouldn't be with us as a group anymore. But they are. So what does this mean? Why did it happen?"

Until now, I can't tell you an answer to any of these questions. +
But when MOTS: Persona came around, I was so glad it happened.

They took the world by storm more than ever before. They broke countless records, created lasting cultural impact, gained more fans who loved them.

But you know what reason made me glad most of all? +
They were SO happy.

If you were a fan before MOTS: Persona, I think you would know what I mean. They had a different glow. Their smiles had a different lilt to them; they could not stop saying how happy they were.

It was a full, assured happiness. It was breathtaking. +
It was during this time when I thought, "I'm so glad that they stayed, for them to be this happy."

Am I glad they suffered? Absolutely not. I don't think anyone deserves that kind of pain. And even this pain was not a guarantee that they would be happy afterwards. +
But it did happen, and it was beautiful. I was so glad that it happened to them.

Weeks, months, years from now-- we don't know what's going to happen to our boys.

It's a scary prospect, but the only thing that we can do is to live the present to the fullest with them. +
Just like what the boys said in this episode, I'll focus on the now that we have with them.

Because what matters most is that we have each other and BTS. And this bond, along with the moments that we shared, are treasures that time can never take away.
