Miss Badu blocked me over a subtweet. she was goin on an on about “fast little girls in short skirts” & i wasn’t here for it. i had no idea i was blocked until years later she was performing at a party i was at & i couldn’t figure out why i couldn’t tag her in my tweets

omg remember when Rebel Wilson blocked every black woman on here cause she said she was the first plus sized girl to star in a rom com & we were like “uuuuh Queen Latifah?”

kind of related. years ago i used blockchains to preemptively block folks based on who they’re following (ie. former Klan leader David Duke) these chains are of course flawed (now i opt for mute chains) but it resulted in a hilarious trend of “blocked by Franchesca Ramsey” vids
