This seems to have upset some people re Nkunku. Let me break it down on this thread.

Nkunku is £3.30 & 22. He's had a fine start to life at Leipzig and on the surface, his PB max of 297 & 240 are solid.

But let's delve deeper..

His 297 came with 4 assists. His 247 with 2 assists, 1 goal. Is that 247 such a great score considering those stats? Wasn't enough to win PB.

What have we learned? That for Nkunku to win PB he needs to score a gwg and record 2 assists in a game.

Why?

Because he averages 19 passes per game. He's coming from wayyyyyy back.

That is why he can score a goal vs Gladbach, and play 90 minutes, 30 VS 10 men and only record a score of 159.

Hence, he doesn't hit the matrix naturally

He's only 22, room to improve. For sure. Elite youth can surpass having average PB.

But is Nkunku elite youth? He's 22, has 0 caps for France & has just 6 u21 caps to his name. The French set up would suggest no. PSG think no.

Where do you see his price going from £3.30?

Prominent accounts will mock as they hate having their babies debated objectively.

I've been proven wrong before, & will be proven wrong again. However, I don't believe that Nkunku is elite enough, or involved enough in games to justify his current price VS other talents.
