It's interesting how polarizing American politics can be, even as Canadian. I tried really hard not to be phased by certain Christian record artist's unyielding support of Tr*mp. But it's honestly made me pretty cynical toward them, and I need to wrestle with my heart on that.

I'm talking about songwriters I really enjoy(ed) and admired...I see them and end up having really negative emotional reactions.

It would be different if they said, "I really wrestled with it but this man best represents my politics even if I disagree with him on _____"...like if they were nuanced about it. I can accept that, even if I hate it. I think it's the "We drank the kool-aid" aspect of it all
