10 years ago today I moved to KY. I was 16 & pissed. My mom, siblings/other fam stayed in GA. It was just me & dad. A whole decade... & thank you, Jesus. It’s been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I still get holidays in GA & miss my siblings everyday. But I love KY

I actually moved back to Atl after I moved home from Guate. I was there for 2 weeks before I came to Ashland to visit, fell back in love w the bluegrass, called my loved ones & told them I wasn’t coming home. (Which is exactly how I informed everyone I was moving here 10 yrs ago)

This time it was actually a lot harder tho. I wanted so badly to make my life there. I lost a lot making that decision. (If ya know, ya know.) Anyway, I just couldn’t do it. My church is in this town. My career is in this town. And of course, my dad & The Cullops are here.

Ashland is like living in a lil movie. It’s a river town so it’s beautiful. I volunteer 10-15 hours a week for fun. The business community is tight-knit. We’re all on several boards of directors & planning committees. We’re friends, working towards a common goal. I love it here.

Ive found copious amounts of beauty here. Some people think that’s crazy.... but maybe I am. alright, back to ridiculous retweets, nascar, ‘had to be there’ moments, & bad humor. Jesus loves you & so do I.
