I think Cummings broke the Lockdown rules.

I can’t get past that castle stop and the eyesight thing.

So why am I reluctant to have him resign? (Not that my opinion is that important on this matter, but some of my followers have asked...)

See thread. 👇
1. People write to our school asking for my resignation all the time because they don’t like something I have said or done.

Should I resign?
Who decides these things?

I worry about living in a society where random people can decide the fate of someone’s career.
2. It was important to me that he admit wrongdoing. He said he made mistakes at the press conference. That meant a lot.

I didn’t like his previous arrogance and dismissive behaviour.

There was no ‘sorry’ but that’s because advice will have been not to say sorry or it is over
3. I am ‘strict’ but the truth is at Michaela, when a kid recognises what they did wrong, they sit their detention, we then move on as if nothing has happened.

We wipe the slate clean. We don’t allow their ‘rep’ to ruin their future.

I think Cummings has sat his detention.
4. I understand why people are hurt and angry and why they want him to resign.

I also understand why other people think the press are vicious and that Cummings has suffered enough.

So I don’t really know what I think. Not everything in life is easy. I just don’t know.
