I notice a no of ppl getting over-excited about the Tories misfortunes. If anything this might jolt them out of any complacency they may have been languishing in. Whereas for Labourites this a distraction from away from deeper structural issues they still have no answer to.
i.e how do the Labour party win a GE without Scotland? how do they address decline in vote share in non-metro areas of the midlands, the North and also Wales that have occurred over the last two decades not just the last couple of years? They dont have answers to these questions
The Labour party have been losing votes since 2001, not all the problems of the party can be pinned on Corbyn and Brexit, but to listen to Labour activists on here you would think that this was the case.
Labour party members/activists and their out-riders in the media who are all clearly gloating at the moment remind me of when Liverpool FC celebrated a 2-2 draw at home to WBA. You celebrate like that when you’ve won summat, not when you draw at home to WBA.
Likewise, when you’ve won a GE then you will have summat to gloat about. Until that time, this is what you lot remind me of
