Reading The Lives of Dax and the story about Emony Dax is gross. McCoy is a featured character and he's not even 18 in the sort and yet is courted by Emony despite the fact she was performing gymnastics before he was born. She'd have to be at least a decade older than him

He's a MINOR and she, an adult, encouraged him to ask her out. WTF was Michael Jan Friedman thinking!?

And then they had sex. A 17 year old boy and a woman that has to be in her 30s AT LEAST.

And the fact she's an alien who might have different maturation periods is specifically nullified when she says there Trill's have a comparable life span to humans.

So here's an adult woman, with a symbiont of two lifetimes, having sex with a teenager.

And then to top it all off McCoy freaks out when he finds out that one of the previous Dax hosts was a man.

Where are those evolved sensibilities we're always led to believe humans have in the future.

This is a thoroughly disgusting story. I am appalled and horrified by it.
