I don’t get the notion that Kpop artists interact with their fans more than western artists(I know Jackson has said this, but I even disagreed then)...I’m a fan of both/and been a fan of multiple western artists/groups and I honestly consider it the same...

I can see why he thinks that and other people think that because they do have more fansigns/fan meetings, but I feel like that’s because of the amount of comebacks they have a year...not saying they don’t want to do these fan signs/fan meetings...just that if a western artist...

were to do the same amount of comebacks or released multiple albums in a year then it would be the same

And I’m not speaking for every western artist but the ones I’m a fan of or been a fan of interact with their fan of...hardcore anyways..have interacted with their fans a lot

This one girl mentioned it in a video and one of her arguments was that Kpop artists, she used B*S as an example and I can agree that they put out a lot of content for their fans, but western artists do too...For ex. 1* did too, they had video diaries and did live streams as well

Their ugly mgmt deleted the video diaries but they did exist

I want to make clear that I’m not disagreeing with her initial or main point of the video...only her point that Kpop idols interact more with their fans than western idols or American artists

Tbh I don’t consider content videos like video diaries fan interactions unless u’re answering fan questions like 1D did bc an idol isn’t interacting w/ the fans...yes it’s content for a fan to watch but I don’t consider it a fan interaction...live-streams yes bc the idol chats...
