I've received an email from Peterborough Cycling Forum criticising @peterboroughcc’s proposals. I agree they are 'underwhelming'. Dept for Transport @transportgovuk recommends pop-up cycle lanes, road space reallocation schemes, road closures & low traffic neighbourhood projects, yet @peterboroughcc doesn’t seem to have considered any of these.

It would be tragic if Peterborough returned to the congested car-centric city it was before lockdown because the council failed to listen to the Cycling Forum or the growing number of residents who want to cycle in safety. People want to cycle more. Let’s make it happen!
