So @paigeecopcutt tagged me in a rating of the high school musical songs on a thread! I didn’t agree so here’s mine...(enjoy)
At 32 we have humuhumunukunukuapua’a - so pointless, probably why it’s only in the extended edition, but when it came out all them years ago I loved it!
31. A good mix of all the songs in the 3rd one. I love that the musical is there lives but it wouldn’t work if you didn’t know the original songs
30. What I’ve been looking for (reprise) - I understand why it’s needed and I’m a sucker for a slow song but this isn’t my favourite
29. Boys are back - I love the routine and the boys as kids. Just unfortunately didn’t make it as one of the top
28. We’re all in this together (graduation mix) -I liked how they put this song in the last movie, quite long if you are just listening to it though
27. When there was me and you - imagine having a poster like that of your fella at school?! Does that actually happen in America? These Gabriella solos are better than I’ve previously given credit for!
26. A night to remember - the staging / dance to this is up there with the best, but the actual song is about middle!
25. What I’ve been looking for - I love Ryan’s dancing in the first film! For me it makes this song!
24. Walk away - Gabriella’s solos are usually my least favourite, not that they’re bad just they’re not too groovy. Although I found myself singing along too this
23. High school musical - what’s more apt to end on than this one? And the classic round one at a time. Mint
22. Just wanna be with you - this movie gets me right in the feels! This song sets me off crying like a baby. I love love
21. What time is it? - great song! The only issue I have is I wish it had the ‘summer...summer...summer’ at the beginning on the actual song release because that’s the best bit of the film!
20. Start of something new - I love the first movie! I just hate that I know it’s not Zac singing, you have to rate it highly though as it started the whole thing off!

18. I want it all! - another Sharpay and Ryan classic! You gotta dream big girl!
17. Right here, right now - another emotional one. I just love it
16. Fabulous - describes Sharpay perfectly! So bratty, but if you can have it why not eh?
15. I don’t dance - it makes me happy that Chad gets a song but it’s very contradictory. Chad dances a lot throughout all 3 movies! Still a great song though
14. Bop to the top - I wonder if they changed this up too, or if it’s a Kelsey original? Either way major bop! (See what I did there)
13. Definitely the best Gabriella ballad, but there is some top tunes in this movie!
12. You are the music in me - see Zac can sing!! Gotta admit this is a very good song!
11. Scream - I love a Troy solo, so much emotion!
10. All for one - however small Miley’s cameo was I LIVE for it
9. You are the music in me (Sharpay version) - typical Sharpay and I LOVE HER! I especially like at the end of this song where Troy sees her in a wedding dress. I would be obcessing over Troy just as much as her if not more!
8. Now or never - YES! I love it, how Gabriella can stop the whole game by singing is just beyond me! Get me in a basket ball kit so I can dance along!
7. Getcha head in the game - absolute tune! I just wanna get myself a wildcats out and join in
6. I was proper jamming while listening to this one!
5. We’re all in this together - what a classic! If you don’t know the dance who even were you?
4. Can I have this dance? - wedding dance written all over it! I used to sing this all the time on the way home from school, great mems
3. Bet on it - Troy, don’t let the pressure get to you babe! This is a BANGER! Them moves, that reflection!
2. Everyday - 100% one of my favourite all time songs! If Tom was up for it this or ‘can I have this dance’ would be our first dance
1. Without a shadow of a doubt Breaking free - ICONIC!! You’re completely mad if you don’t think it deserves the top spot! Whether Zac is singing or not this is an 11/10
