Interesting things to highlight include:
1. The new @ScotParl Covid-19 committee. Holyrood is the only UK parliament to have set up a dedicated select committee to scrutinise the (Scottish) government's pandemic response.
2. The @SeneddWales has moved fully online and is holding digital plenary meetings which incorporate simultaneous translation. It has also created a system of digital proxy voting where representatives from each party cast votes on behalf of their party group.
3. Last, but not least, the @niassembly also has a proxy voting system, where MLAs nominate a proxy who will cast votes on their behalf in person in the lobbies of Stormont. They have set up an ad hoc committee of all MLAs to hold ministers accountable on their Covid response.
Also worth noting the discussion around making these changes permanent. As I mention in the last section, improving accessibility remains a priority and several reps (including @GillianMSP and @GailRossSNP) have said increased digital working in the future may help to do this.
