So, self-righteous, self-appointed park cop Cooper starts the fight by grabbing the dog, and the woman loses it and
6) pulls out her nuclear weapon, calling the cops on a Black guy.

There are so many levels of stupidity here on both sides, it's hard to count, but the outcome's clear. The woman's life is ruined, her job in jeopardy.

This is classic birder v. dog-owner stuff, only
7) this time someone's life lies in a shambles. Had Cooper the man just searched for a park ranger or cop instead of grabbing the dog, none of this happens. Had Cooper, the woman (her name, apparently, is Amy Cooper) not pulled the "calling-the-cops-on-the black-guy routine"
8) she'd be safely at work this AM.

What a world! Social media, it turns out,. is a threat to all of us. If you end up in the cross-hairs for whatever reason, your life's ruined.
