3. a factory to employ 500 people. We pay millions of rupees in taxes every year & have remitted millions of usd to Pakistan from abroad.Punjab police is a state within a state & we’ve gotten no where even when internal docs repeatedly ask police to take action against Maaz Zafar
4. My 60 year old father was harrased & our employees were physically tortured by PUNJAB POLICE. @PTIofficial is either afraid or incompetent to challenge @OfficialDPRPP. There was a piece in dawn about our predicament & how @OfficialDPRPP officer Maaz Zafar has been found guilty
5. Yet no action has been taken. I’m being wishful here because Maaz Zafar’s cronies have repeatedly conveyed we are fighting a losing battle as he is ‘highly influential with top brass of Punjab Police.’ Not signs of a functioning democracy but one that’s been hijacked by goons

8. We’ve conveyed to Maaz Zafar’s cronies that we will not back down out of principle & to set an example.We shall use every avai platform to get justice. Attached are the screenshots. To the credit of the Portal app they’ve reopened our complaints when Punjab police deliberately
9. closed them but without action these are empty gestures. Why is Maaz Zafar so indispensable to certain high ranking Police Officers? Why after multiple investigations, he continues to occupy our land & be on the govt payroll? Absolutely shameful & despicable.
10. Maaz Zafar openly threatened my father and said ‘I am a serving officer.’ My father replies ‘I’ve served this country 40 years by continuously investing from abroad and creating job opportunities and paying my taxes in pakistan’. Is this how we plan on....
11. Attracting overseas Pakistani investors let alone foreign investors. No one should be above the law. No tax paying citizen should have to endure what my father has endured after moving back and wanting to do good for the country. Shame on the institutions that harrased him.
12. He could still comfortably move abroad even after all this mental trauma & harassment. But he says he wants to set an example. Me and my siblings or any god fearing Pakistani, on the other hand if put into this situation, would say the same?
13. Dear Prime Minister. Nothing is above rule of law. You cannot be held down by blackmailers & corrupt officers of the like of Maaz Zafar who harass and torture tax paying senior citizens. We have to take a stand! Your govt still has time to make an example.
14. Government officers cannot keep on going unquestioned with impunity when every other person in PAK including politicians have been held accountable. Bureaucracy should know there will be repercussions and consequences to their illegal actions.
15. Our resolve cannot be broken by threats from @OfficialDPRPP SP Maaz Zafar and his cronies. Where in the world do institutions meant to uphold law, threaten citizens? High Ranking Police officers keep forwarding our complaint back & forth. Why is Maaz Zafar so indispensable?
16. What vodoo does he have on the Punjab police department that he continues to serve after all investigations & inquiries & ‘re-investigations’ have proven he’s guilty?
