rating seventeens performances as each other as if i am a judge on rupauls drag race and they played snatch game: a thread

wonwoo, mingyu, woozi, dk, seungkwan, jun, and joshua. the seven of you are safe, and you may step to the back of the stage

vernon, s.coups, hoshi, dino, jeonghan, and the8, you represent the top and bottom boys this week. lets get into the critique.

starting off with.. vernon.
what happened this week vernon?! compared to the other boys your energy level... you werent all there. you were playing woozi, correct? my biggest critique is that you only had one joke that woozi is always in his studio. listen, i get how it can seem

hard to imitate woozi as hes a very quiet figure but there are more nuances to playing woozi than what you gave us! you could have gone after the8 who was playing hoshi and was really playing up the tiger act! you could have been yelling more at everyone, being bossy!

the in the studio joke was funny the first time. but you needed more. however i will say, your oppaya aegyo impression? spot on. i just wish we had seen more of that.

S.Coups. listen. im not going to rag on you too hard, because when you did talk, you were hilarious! but it wasn't enough. you barely talked at all!! you faded into the background this week, and if youre going to win this competition, you cannot fade into the background.

your outfit choice was also... a choice. it was very SCoups. but that wasnt the point of the challenge. the point was you were imitating mingyu. and i got scoups. mingyu is an amazing dresser and there was so much better choices! overall im disappointed, and i wish i could have

seen more of mingyu in your performance.

next is... hoshi. WOW. you stole. the. show tonight. every single time you opened your mouth i KNEW i was going to hear something that was gonna make seungkwan beat you within an inch of your life after taping. you were just so Funny! see, you two, this is how you do an imitation

you play up minor aspects of seungkwan. the limp wrist, everytime you did it i nearly spit out my drink! seungkwan really looked like he was mad, which i would think is the goal. overall an excellent performance. you are one of the funniest people ive ever seen on this show

and i knew you would excel in this challenge.

now... dino! you really were the underdog of this challenge. when you came out you were dressed, eh very simply for playing dokyeom. but every time you opened your mouth ohmyGOD you were hilarious. the crying every time you started to give a speech, GENIUS just. genius

the faces you were making were perfect. i knew exactly what you were referencing and your comedic timing was excellent, overall just well done this week. im really proud to see you breaking out of your shell.

next is... jeonghan! listen. your performance was not bad and all your jokes were accurate but they werent pushing the limits of the character the way the other boys were. i think you ran into the same problems that vernon did when trying to figure out how to protray someone

quiet the way minghao is. and so i would say the same thing that i said to him that i would say to you: exaggerate. everything. minghao wanting to keep a distant relationship with his fans, you played into it a little but not enough. minghao being annoyed with hoshis tiger antics

is also something he does. minghao is a member who isnt easy to imitate but ive seen you do comedy before and im sorry to say but today was just not your day.

speak of the devil himself, theeee8. when i saw you were going to have to play hoshi i must say i laughed out loud. you are one of the most anti horanghae members of your entire group so i knew your performance as hoshi would be one to look out for and it was HI-LARIOUS!

the interrupting to say something about tigers, the taking pictures, the tiger claw. it was all such an accurate performances that got some of the more detailed parts of hoshi's personality down correctly. this is like a half critique but sometimes it was more minghao playing

hoshi than hoshi, ya know. but i can forgive that because when you shouted "HORANGHAEEE" i could see the pain in your eyes and that made it all the funnier

now while the judges and i deliberate please take your time to relax in the carat lounge.

now we need to decide who is in the bottom and who is in the top, lets start with vernon... im sorry but his performance as woozi? he needed to be at like at LEAST a 4 to play woozi and he was at a -0.90344. i will say, oppaya was funny, i just needed more of that

now scoups. he just was giving too much of himself and not enough mingyu. seventeen as a group has such an EASY time making fun of mingyu outside of challenges so im just confused where this all went wrong. it feels theres no excuse.

hoshi was definitely a stand out today. i mean everytime he talked seungkwan looked at him like he was gonna break his stupid limp wrist himself! and i think thats what we wanted the results of this to be!

dino... god i did not expect a lot from dino and he exceeded my expectations greatly. he played off of everyone in the room so well and everything he did i could surely say "dokyeom would do that." really TRULY impressed with him this week

next is jeonghan. you know i just wasnt getting anything from jeonghan. i feel he knew what he had to say and he just didnt do anything with it. very disappointed in him because i know he can do better

and finally... the8. i think everyone knew, even if just a little bit, that minghao was going to be great today. minghao playing hoshi is the concept we didnt know we needed but greatly deserved. everything he said sounded so pained and that just made it all the more funny.

okay... now we must decide who is winning this weeks challenge, and who is going home... its a tough call. i feel everyone in the top was equally good, and same goes for everyone in the bottom... except... bad. personally if it were up to me. i think vernon and scoups should be

the bottom two, and dino should win. but thats just what i think.

SILENCE. (i have not made my decision SIKE get played this thread is interactive. who should win this stupid thread based off my praise)
