For reasons I cannot explain, I found myself at Boksburg lake yesterday morning
Looking across the water, I felt an innate desire to get to the other side
So I started walking
At some point, I came across a fence. I simply jumped over it and continued walking. I then came across this shrubbery that I found strange
There was also this weird island in the middle of the lake
As much as I wanted to, there was no way of getting to the island unfortunately
But there was just something so intriguing about it
Upon closer inspection, I started noticing a cluster of these large, pale and ghostly birds inhabiting the island like a colony of ants
Turns out, it was island full of blue cranes, which I thought was pretty cool. Cranes in the sky and all that
My journey continued far beyond this point. I saw so many interesting things, but I was so wrapped up in the experience that I stopped taking photos. I& #39;m sorry. I promise I will next time though. Just know that I made it to the other side
