I have been searching for printers because my upgraded OS had no drivers available and I had looked everywhere. So I resolved to buy a new printer when those for sale signs 4-6k popped up in the supermarket

I even called my techie guy who was surprised to hear from me since I last called him in 2012 hehehe... What can I say I have reliable hardware (no pun intended)

He suggested we look for generic drivers, I googled and Voilà, c'est tout ce que je voulais...Gutenprint to rescue. This thread is a relief+thank you thread to the open source community. Pewa gratis!
