I buy Big Finish, because I know people who write, act, and are a part of the crew who make the productions.

It's their livelihood.

They're a small business, who make niche content.

If people stop buying, it stops being made.

Entertainment is seen as worthless, and it's not

This is the reason why I personally don't pirate their work.

But I see it every day. Budgets get smaller, and people don't want to pay me for my work. They don't see the value, and it sucks.

I've read the tweet again, and I agree with the "elitism" part.

There are some fans who do act like you HAVE to listen to the audios, and that does leave out a large portion of fans who don't get that chance.
